Colorful and Emotion-Filled Wedding Celebration at The Tin Roof Barn

I’ve had the privilege of photographing several weddings at Tin Roof Barn, but Willow and John’s was truly special to me. They are the kind of couple you meet and immediately know their day will be unforgettable. Willow is one of the most adventurous women I’ve ever encountered. From traveling the world to taking on challenging backpacking trails, she has done it all.

Their love story is one of reconnecting after many years apart, a timeless kind of romance. Their wedding marked the official blending of their family, though it was clear this bond had been well established long before. Witnessing the connection between Willow, John, and his daughter was deeply moving. The day was filled with heartfelt moments, genuine connections among family and friends, and pure joy. It was an honor to be part of it all.

There couldn’t have been a better venue for Willow and John’s wedding. Nestled in White Salmon, Washington, right in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, Tin Roof Barn is a beautifully restored, century-old barn known for its timeless charm, scenic mountain views, and natural beauty. The barn retains its original character, including exposed wooden beams, a weathered metal roof, and original wood siding, all thoughtfully updated with modern amenities to accommodate today’s weddings. During dinner time, the light seeped in through the barn walls and created the most beautiful ambiance for John and Willow’s welcome toast.

Outside of the historic barn, Tin Roof Barn offers endless photography opportunities for your wedding day. Be sure to set aside some time for sunset photos because the mountain views are absolutely worth it!
